Privacy notice
Last updated: 16 October 2026
In short
- CADnita Flow runs in your browser. Your drawings never leave your computer.
- This site only delivers the app's files. It cannot receive your drawings, file names or anything you type in the app.
- No analytics, trackers, advertising or third-party scripts. No cookies on this site.
- The servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for up to 14 days, for security and simple visit counts.
1. Who is responsible
CADnita is operated by an individual based in Chile, who is responsible for the processing of personal data on cadnita.com. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, write to privacy@cadnita.com.
This notice follows Chilean law on the protection of personal data (Law 19.628, as amended by Law 21.719).
2. What CADnita Flow does with your drawings: nothing
The app is downloaded once to your browser and then works entirely on your computer. Opening, editing and saving drawings (.pfd and other CAD files) happens through your browser's own file dialogs, on your own disk. The app makes no requests except to load its own files from this site.
This is enforced technically, not just promised: the site sends a security policy (Content-Security-Policy) that makes your browser block any attempt by the page to contact another server or send data anywhere else.
3. What is stored in your browser
On your own computer, and only there, the app may keep:
- A recovery copy of your current drawing, if you turn on autosave (off by default) or close the app with unsaved work. It is kept in your browser's storage (IndexedDB).
- Interface preferences such as panel layout and drafting settings (localStorage). These contain no drawing content.
Nobody else can read these, including us. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them. Always save your work as files, because browser storage can be cleared.
4. What the servers see
Like any website, the servers that deliver the files see technical information about each request:
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| IP address, date and time, page or file requested, browser type (user agent), response status | Delivering the site, security (detecting abuse), and simple aggregate visit statistics | Up to 14 days in the server logs. Statistics are aggregated, with IP addresses anonymised. |
| Your alpha username and login session (once sign-in opens) | Letting invited testers in | While your alpha access lasts; deleted when it ends |
The servers never see your drawings, file names or anything you type in the app.
This site sets no cookies. Once sign-in opens, a single strictly necessary session cookie will keep you logged in to the app; it is not used for anything else.
5. Service providers
Two providers help deliver the site. They process the request data in section 4 on our behalf and under their own security commitments:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): domain, DNS, HTTPS encryption and secure delivery of the site's files. Your connection is encrypted between your browser and Cloudflare, and again between Cloudflare and our server.
- Google Cloud (Google LLC, server located in the United States): hosts the server that stores the site's files.
Because these providers operate outside Chile, request data is transferred internationally. Neither receives your drawings.
Emails you send to @cadnita.com addresses are forwarded by Cloudflare to a personal mailbox and handled only to answer you.
6. Your rights
Under Chilean law you can ask to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, object to or ask us to restrict its processing. Write to privacy@cadnita.com. Since we hold very little (mainly short-lived logs and, for testers, a username), most requests can be answered quickly. You may also complain to the Chilean data protection authority.
7. Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Significant changes will be told to alpha testers directly.
